It was announced today that our game vs UC will be at the FC Cincinnati soccer stadium. I think that was widely rumored. The weird thing for me is that it was announced as a UC home game. I thought it was our home game. So instead of a mixed crowd- I am guessing it will be a UC crowd. Also the Press Conference wasnt much but they didnt announce any other games in the Miami vs UC series. I wonder if it really done. I swear I heard Sayler or Martin say it was going to continue just not every year
Redsea I heard the same thing from Saylor.
It seems a bit odd to hold a game that would pack Yager or UC or hold a huge crowd at Bengals stadium as well. All of these venues would likely make more money and also allow more people to attend. The soccer stadium is unique, but seems short sighted for this match up.
UC’s pride got in the way of a home and home series.
Early priority tickets go on sale tomorrow. Two levels, $156 ea. or $181 ea. If you want seats in lounge with food and drink, $286 ea. Seems like price gouging.
That seems high
World Cup nosebleed prices!
Capacity is 26,000 which is larger than Yager & smaller than Nippert
Yager was bigger than the AC Cincy soccer field at one point. Overall ridiculous.
Yeah this is a money grab. It’s the last scheduled game of the series and a few blocks from Clifton during Oktoberfest weekend, it’ll probably sell out with the smaller capacity. Anyone want to submit a FOIA requesting the financial details of the neutral site game?
That weekend. Oktoberfest, Reds home game, Brooks and Dunn Concert at Riverbend. TQL is in Cincy but away from the mess downtown
Given all this, they should have hired Adam Dunn to show up for a song. Basically it’s Brooks & Dunn and Dunn. And they all wear Lederhosen. Also, for some reason Adam Dunn can’t commit, so at the last minute the choice is made to replace him with a donkey. Still wearing the Lederhosen. That would get some asses in the gate.
Anything on “reasonably” priced tickets yet? Lots of UC and more than a few Miami grads work there.

UC being UC.
So UC will have the late afternoon sun at their backs and Miami will have full sun directly on their bench. Wonderful “luck of the draw!”
Nobody questioning why we’re paying $156 for seats UC fans are getting for $50?
I do not know why Miami is so desperate to keep this rivalry when the other team isn’t. Let them go create rivalries with Kansas and they pretend to be big time.
Yes the Miami ticket prices seemed to be lacking an upper deck option like UC had
