MIAMI V. MILLIGAN-GAME MONDAY AFTERNOON

Miami game notes, obviously the starting lineup doesn’t reflect Evan’s injury. Milligan is currently 3-10 (2-5 AAC), as the Buffaloes are currently on a seven-game losing streak. Milligan went 22-10 (14-6 AAC) last year. Head coach Bill Robinson is in his 17th season with the Buffaloes. Heading into the 2025-26 season, Milligan was selected to finish in a tie for fourth overall in the 2025-26 AAC Coaches’ Preseason Men’s Basketball Poll. Senior guard Elijah Bredwood (22.3/game), junior forward Te’Jon McDaniel-McCormic (12.2/ game) and freshman guard Jake Benham (10.6/game) lead the Buffaloes with double figures in scoring. McDaniel-McCormic leads the team in rebounds (9.2/game), assists (3.2/game), steals (1.7/game) and blocks (0.6/game).

Obviously, Milligan, an NAIA school, doesn’t have a lot of size. One player 6’7" and one player 6’9". After that two who are 6’5"

I believe the only DI school they have played so far this year was MTSU and they lost 100-51

How does an NAIA team recruit all of these European guys?

14-5 Miami at first timeout

14-5 Miami at the U16. Sparse crowd, but not as bad as I thought it would be.

NAIA teams recruit foreign players through direct outreach, leveraging platforms like PlayNAIA and [NCSA], and partnering with international recruiting services like Applywave

Interesting, thanks!

Just tuned in? Is this a jr high team?

Milligan just took a TO, 25-7 Miami. Said before, but Waltz is a nice player.

Miami 5-8 from deep

By the way, Evan is on the bench. No brace. Not needed until after surgery

Straight from Milligan’s Island!

This afternoon game is a gift from God on the last workday before I’m off for the holidays.

Ice Man still hot from Saturday

46-25 timeout. Iceman with 14. Some Milligan player hit 3 straight 3’s and has 10.

Bredwood hit from outside, keeping this from being completely embarrassing. 46-25 Miami with 6:01 to go in the 1st.

Not a single FTA for either team.

We still aren’t doing much rebounding on the offensive end. Only negative this game so far.

49-25 media timeout after Waltz hits a three off a nice pass from Robbins.

Waltz getting a lot of PT. Already played 11 minutes, and doing well with it.
