We need to figure out some ways for Heavener to get the ball out to the edge quickly to our playmakers. The slow mesh between him and Rodney up the middle doesn’t cut it.

Heavner needs to release the ball

You would think at this point, Heavner would have figured out that he isn’t going to run away from these guys and he needs to get rid of the ball.

Heavner went has happy feet. Playing like a freshman, not experienced qb.
HOW THE FUCK IS THAT NOT A PENALTY
These refs are full of shit
Heavner being rough is one thing, committing penalties every other play is just awful. Missed PI is terrible from the ref.
And then the refs call ineligible man downfield. Do these refs understand that a make-up call is supposed to go against the team that just got away with a penalty?

We look a lot like Ball State today - and it’s not just the uniforms.

Nine penalties for 65 yards.
Attendance today? 9,000?
Our defense needs a turnover
This may be the most offensively incompetent game I’ve ever seen in perfect fall weather.

Is it just me, or has Bake been wrong about the spot of the ball a lot this year? Like, off by 5-10 yards. I know he had some health issues last year. Is he doing ok?
That’s as good as a turnover

Why not go no huddle?
Never thought I’d see basketball out-drawing football.
