Opened as 15.5 point favorites which dropped very quickly to 14.5 and now is at 13.5. I’d guess its a result of the QB news becoming more widespread.
Still should be a game we win, but BG did show a little bit of feistiness against USF this past week so not a cake walk.
Defense was good for BG. But offense still anemic.
Cautiously hopeful for the game. Going to Sleeping Bear this weekend but hope to follow the game online between wineries.

BG has scored 13 or less in all four games, we should be able to keep them at 10 max. If we have to go with Heavner I still think we manage 20+ given that the pass blocking and receivers were pretty effective against UC and UConn.

BG lost to tarleton state at home we should be fine. This BG team is probably on a similar level to holy cross
Bill Connelly has BG about 100 spots higher than Holy Cross in this week’s 1-772 rankings. BG is bad, but Holy Cross is a lot worse.

Ok I revise, they are on a similar level to western Carolina who UC beat by 50. Lower than d2 Ferris state and grand valley state

This is a huge loss for BG if he is out. Yes, comparable for us without DM, but in some ways worse because BG has zero offense.
As I said in another thread, Bee Gee showed no offense at all while we were in attendance there on Saturday. S Florida pretty much dominated there O line Bee Gee’s D, however looked pretty good. S Florida came in averaging plus thirty a game and were 3-0. They were shut out for three quarters. IF the stud D end is out for the Falcons it will be a huge loss. S Florida could not block him.
I wish the B G band would make the trip, all 600 of them. They were great.
It’s crazy that D2 Ferris State is ranked higher than half the MAC. I don’t follow D2 football but they must be a powerhouse at that level.
Ferris has 4 national titles since 2021. Trinidad Chambliss won there before transferring to Ole Miss.
Some guy named Chuck Martin did pretty well coaching at DII!!

In one of the 1st years I lived in West Michigan (about a dozen yrs back or so), I was driving eastbound on I-96 somewhere between Lansing and Detroit, and I saw a white Cadillac in my rearview mirror getting larger and larger. The speed limit on our highways is either 70 or 75 depending on the location, but this guy was doing well over 100. As he got closer to me, I looked closer in the rearview mirror, and saw that the driver looked a heck of a lot like Bob Seger. Well, after he moved into the left lane and pulled on ahead of me, I saw the license plate read “NT MOVES.”
