MIAMI V BGSU GAME THREAD!

Black symbolizes tradition

While I appreciate the effort to lean into the Cradle of Coaches branding, for Miami, black symbolizes the exact opposite of tradition and even borrows a school color from one of our traditional rivals. Why do that? We’d never use green. Black should be similarly off limits.

Another way to represent tradition here would be to bring back the old-style block M helmets for a weekend. I am aware of the trademark claims by the second-stealing bastards in Ann Arbor. But do it anyway and dare them to object.

To be fair, black is in the modern Miami logos. It’s simply there to create an outline for the “M” and the hawk’s head… but black is present. Sure, most of the Cradle members didn’t coach/play under the logos… but at least it’s not a color that has been totally absent from the school’s palette.

That uniform is simply not Miami

Handle business and then prepare to remind UMass who they are and always will be.

I’m more focused on what we are doing on the field than what we are wearing!

Dave thx so much for the invite. We just grabbed something quick uptown and Dana’s going to drop me off at the entrance to the stadium. Between the cancer and severe canal stenosis at 2 levels that needs surgery I’m having some trouble walking today. So going to go in the stadium and sit.

Trooper!

Wait, we allowed Michigan to scare us away from using the block M?

Why is the line plummeting to 10.5
