Miami men at Indiana 7:00 Friday on BTN

I was wrong. Cindy Simon Skjodt is an IU alum who donated the 40 million. JohnnyMac Arena has a nice ring to it.

Craft is for sure a shooter. Wish he was more of a maker

On cue! You’re welcome

Feeling extra critical tonight that was preemptive

If JOHNNY MAC ever donated enough money to put his name on an arena, he has already decided that it will be named ā€œPalace of the Fansā€ after an early Cincinnati Reds ballpark.

Looks hanging we’re hanging in there desire being down double figures early.

I need a double like on that.

The calls on body contact have been inconsistent, imo. Staying in it after a rough start. Fouls will be the biggest issue down the stretch.

Much better job at finishing the half.

I’ll take a one possession deficit at halftime at IU any day!

Skaljac very impressive…was skeptical based on some of the commentary during early practices but he’s exceeded expectations

Dog shit call to end the half, given he was over the baseline

Somehow in the game with how bad we are shooting, playing really well not turning it over much, just gotta make more shots

Eye U is 58% from the field and Miami is 37%, yet only down by 3. :+1:

Being out-shot 58%-37% and only down 3. I’ll take it. We’ve only committed 5 turnovers.

I haven’t got to see any of this but love the box score! Very impressive. Kam gets hot maybe we can do this upset thing people talk about.

If we could negate IU’s size as much as possible, IU’s guard play isn’t nearly as dynamic as Michigan’s. And they don’t play the same type of pace. This pace is more to our liking.

We need to finish the rim or go up strong and draw some fouls. We’re shying away from contact too much. Suder’s shot selection needs to improve. We need more from Woolfolk. He’s been almost invisible the last 60 minutes of game play.

Our 2s were better than their 2s, which has kept us in the game. Skajac and Ipsaro have done a very good job off the bench. I’d love Elmer to be even more aggressive. The foul line jumper he hit is one he can get anytime with his quickness and size.

Indiana will probably try and pound it inside early and often to start the 2nd half. We need to be ready for that.

Second half start is mimicking the first half start. :grimacing:

We’re right there. Not shooting great. But competing hard and taking care of the ball. Need a guy or two to catch fire.

I know Woolfolk knows it, but just silly. Can’t do that to your team when your backup is being ramped up from injury.

55-50 IU at the 10 minute mark.
