For us this is for “all the marbles”. Win and we are in as the #8 seed, we would have a 5 game winning streak and all kind of momentum. It is also possible but not probable that we could lose and BG, EMU, and CMU would all lose and we would still get the #8 seed. Let’s just win.
We beat Buffalo in Oxford in January 91-80 giving Miami a 28-26 all time lead over the Bulls. Buffalo is very fast and wants to run up and down the court and crash the boards, but they are not as good at doing it as their past 8 or 9 teams. Miami is 12-18 ( 6-11) while Buffalo is 14-16 (8-9). They have 4 guys averaging between 10 and 15 ppg: 6-5 SOPH Curtis Jones is their star, 6-4 JR Zid Powell, 6-6 JR Isaiah Adams, and 6-8 SR LaQuil Hardnett.
Mekhi Lairy was the MAC POTW last week and moved into 4th place in all time scoring at Miami. The RedHawks are 10th in the nation in FT% and that has been a huge factor in putting away our last two opponents late in the game. Our NET is still not good, but is at a season high 288. Also, Kamari Williams deserves some praise for his production the last 3 games. He is starting to play up to his potential.

5-3 UB at the first media TO. Mabry with a long 3 is our offense. We have not had a good look yet. Lewis, in particular, was struggling on offense. Their leading scorer, Curtis Jones, is not feeling well and did not start.
