How to screw up a great first half!
Evans was flat footed.
Im surprised Chuck didn’t tell Gabbert to take a knee.
Gabbert is overrated. Martin, OC and entire offense are huge disappointments.
Thanks
Take a shot Chuck.
Wasn’t he hit after he slid?
He was but these refs refuse to call it
Good grief! What a cluster f*$%
No timeouts because we burned them all. Refs start the clock before the chains get reset. We take 15 seconds to get a play off. It’s an awful play. Refs make a sketchy intentional grounding call, which ends the half. Super frustrating.
“If you told check he’d only be down 14-3 he’d take that!”
Do they hear themselves?
I like the mix of plays and aggressiveness - until we get inside the 10. To many jump balls and fades. As usual. So much disorganization getting plays calls and personnel groupings correct. Often in key situations. Same thing happened last week.
ND left the door open. We didn’t capitalize.
In their defense, Chuck probably would take it.
When you have scoring opportunities like we had early and don’t convert against a highly favored opponent, it almost never ends well. Didn’t want to be too pessimistic early on but we’ve all seen these kind of games before. To get the big win you just gotta convert for points when you get a shot.
We need a 3 and out or turnover out of half
We used timeouts on back-to-back plays in the first q, only to throw the ball behind the line of scrimmage on 3rd and 2. Terrible coaching
Disappointing end to a promising half.
Not sure we can recover the momentum.
Shitty game and clock management by Chuck… as usual.
Can’t expect offensive organization in Chuck’s 11th year and our QB’s 6th year
/sarcasm
It seems like we’ve shot ourselves in the foot. Some questionable Chuck stuff, and a couple of bad breaks (particularly that tipped INT inside the 5). Bat damn, it really feels like we could be winning this game.
