Really really pleased with that effort. Came on here to complain earlier about the fumbled punt return. Did some yard work while listening to Bake and heard the boys put in a much needed bounce back performance. This team is not dead. Not by a long shot. Beat OU next week, and the momentum will feel very real. I’m sure guys like Gabbert, Salopek, Wise, and co will want their final season to mean something. Today it showed.

At this point I would be very pleased to get to 7-5. Yeah I know 6-6 gets you to a bowl these days, but it still doesn’t feel much like a successful season.

Clearly my watching the game on my tablet at the synagogue during Yom Kippur services was the difference maker!
