I still cannot understand why EMU punted to us on 4th and 1 that late in the game. Nice to see us make them pay w a good drive and a FG to salt away the game.

Man, it feels so good to see Ty, Salopek, Ugwu, Strader, etc., playing outstanding football again. Hondru and McWood are ready to take over Salopek next season.

Okay so we’re 2-4. Exactly 5 years ago, after losing by 3 scores in Kalamazoo, we were in the same position (2-4, 1-1). We then went on a run and would have finished the regular season on a heck of a winning streak had Chuck not pulled the starters against Ball State to rest guys for the MACC.
In summary: it’s been done before. Let’s go on a run.

That TD will make this game seem more like a blowout than it actually was, but regardless it’s always nice to put up 38, win on the road, and beat a 4-1 team. Doing all three is even better.
