They made a lot of tawdry music but were and are absolute musical geniuses. The country album they made is actually pretty great.

You have spoken no lies. Blows my mind that they can put out a great country style album, and then also have great tunes like Ocean Man and ever fantastically annoying Push Th’ Little Daisies.
