You have to let that go. Midweek games have been a staple for 22 years. They aren’t going away. This game in Muncie started around the time IU/OSU were beginning the second half. As a result, attendance was in the dozens, which is the same as it would have been if this had been played on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Plus, we should all be happy we played on Tuesday. We’ve been resting for several days and BG is just now walking off the field in Muncie.

Did you turn on espn plus to watch it? There was nobody there. Just like a Tuesday night

Did Mr. Fannin return to the game?
No. He returned to the sideline and he had his helmet but BG had a significant lead at that point, so there was no reason to send him back out there.

Once we moved to 12 game schedules endingTkanksgiving week and all day football on TV on Saturdays became a thing attendance died and was about the same as we get for the weeknights
