We have 5 freshmen coming into a team with 6 established rotation players… not beneficial to over index on freshmen.

Raise your hand if you think he gets significant money from Kentucky.
If Potter ends up at UK as a walk-on, it will be because he’s a kid from Lexington who grew up idolizing Big Blue and wants the dream of wearing the blue and white. As someone who grew up in Hoosier nation, I get it.
He won’t play much, he won’t get paid as much as he could other places, but maybe the lifelong dream is worth it. And unlike football, he has a chance to make money overseas so its not like he needs to get the biggest bag he can.
Walk-on thing was an incorrect report. Or at least the latest news directly contradicts that. @Redhawkup probably saw the early, incorrect, report.

Wow. With roster limits I dont even think there are walkons anymore so this is pretty neat for him. Maybe he will pull a Payton Sparks
