Congrats to the Miami coaching staff and team for playing a complete game against an OOC opponent and securing a bowl game victory. The win today, fueled by so many first and second year players, helps build much excitement as we look forward to our opener at Kentucky next Labor Day weekend. Love and Honor and Beat UC!

Was at the game- sat right next to Yanksalex. He rightly said that last drive was the best drive in the Chuck Martin era. 90 yards - 8 plus minutes- close out the game
I thought there was slightly more red in the stadium than expected and we had a nice time
UNT brought a nice crowd bit it didnt seem like an away game to me

I also had to tape and just finished watching the game…what a joy to see a Miami win against an FBS team and in a bowl game! I was nervous until we went into the victory formation. Liked how the ESPN studio analysts commented on how Miami dominated the game physically.

Definitely felt like an away game to me. 90% NT/10% Miami. I was wearing a Big Ben jersey and got asked by at least 7 different people if Ben went to Miami. Uh wouldnt it be a little weird to get a Roethlisberger Miami jersey if he didn’t go here?
Great win. Offensive line showed up. Brett played really well. Defense was great. And…I thought it was well coached.

I agree the crowd was all North Texas- but the atmosphere seemed more neutral site. It got loud at times but it didnt seem to cause problems
Crowd looked good on TV vs. most venues for minor bowls being pretty empty.
