Football Spring Practice

Why a complete void of information this year on Spring Practice? Only post is the interview with CM on March 15. No schedule of practices, no mention of “Spring Game” events - nothing!

Doesn’t make sense…

Maybe Miami’s entire sports information department took vacations after what they encountered the past 3 months. :slightly_smiling_face:

=>Doubt it.

But if they did, I suggest making the vacations permanent!

Interest in Miami Athletics is at a 20 year high at the moment. Now is not the time to start playing not to lose again.

When did Chuck stop playing not to lose?

When did CM go all out to win OOC games at the start of the season?

Maybe CM was jealous of all the attention MBB was getting and he took his ball and went home.

Chuck is still sitting in his lounge chair at Millett eating popcorn waiting for the next basketball game to start!!

There is a new post with some pics today on the football Facebook page.

I thought Spring FB practice had been called off!

Appears it’s been embargoed. Apparently they practiced a week or two, took spring break and now they’re back. No narrative or interviews. We won’t know much of anything about the 2026 team until fall practice, it seems. Since the new Miami App went live the website seems to have been neglected. Not much if any coordination between the two. For the kids it’s an Instagram world.

Spring showcase is April 25, 2026. This is what used to be the spring game.

I had heard this was the case but wasn’t 100% sure. Glad you confirmed.

More details on 4/25

If anyone goes to the equipment sale and sees a 1980s/90s era helmet, I will Venmo you a premium if you’d buy on my behalf.

last time I checked with Daryl, he said that he didn’t have anymore old stuff but maybe there’s a gem to be found. :joy:

We haven’t had a spring game at Yager in years it seems. Don’t know why.

=>Threat of weather.

Have you tried the antique store in Oxford uptown? Just in there a trip or so ago. They have some Miami football gear.

If anyone is wondering who was asking Chuck the questions in the newest video, I believe that is Dave Meyer.
