A few days getting 1st team reps does not help that much.
We beat the team in 1st, shouldāve beat OU if not for a facemask, and I liked our chances vs Toledo if we had our QB1. Saying we had no realistic chance is crazy.

He had a couple throws that prolly get caught more often than not. Henry plays better against UB. We win.
You would think if he hadnāt practiced all week due to not being on the team it would have got around.
Hereās a scenerio. He actually is sick with an ear infection in the days leading up to the game and tries to make a go of it but ultimately he makes the decision to sit out. Coaching staff pushes him to play to the point of questioning his testicular fortitude and at that point Finn says screw this Iām out.
After all the altercations He did not show up for practice. He quit coming to practice so he quitā¦ā¦ He was not in it for the team. End of story.

Yeah, crazier things have happened but Iām not gonna think of Finn as a potential mass shooter without evidence. All the more reason someone in the program needed to address what happened to clear up this mess.

Are we seriously to the point where there are now unconfirmed claims of a threatened school shooting?
Iāll believe heās a quitter. Iām not going to believe the guy threatened to commit murder over playing time. If that had happened, there would have been obvious signs, such as an arrest and charges being filed.

One reason that no one has mentioned is that he could have had a mental breakdown. In that case, Miami would not publicly announce that and would say it was a medical problem due to personal privacy protections and HIPAA law. Just throwing this out thereā¦ Who knows what happened, but it will all come out at some point and speculating is not always good. Overall it is an unfortunate situation anyway you look at it for all involved.
Letās go MU and win out the last 2 games and then win our bowl and flip some players back!

Great point, Note that the Truth Bringer made a veiled reference as to āthe unscrupulous consumption of weedā. There could be many reasons that Martin and the university want to keep a lid on this. Best way to do that is win out. The one standout feature of Chuckās teams over the years is that they never quit and he has gotten them to come back from adversity.
It might have been hard to do that last week if things were in flux. They will have a better chance to do that this week.

What surprises me is that by now someone who knows the truth hasnāt come out and told the story first hand or has let it be known thru āunnamed but reliable sourcesā what happened.
If what happened was truly a bit crazy and Coach told the team to keep their mouth shut, and they have so far as we can tell, itās pretty awesome testimony to how much they respect the guy.
Like others, I think eventually the story will come out. (Canāt wait!)
