Careful, the NCHC got extremely lucky that the OT goal bounced off the defenders leg. Western did not deserve to win that game and was within inches several times of being sent home by a “lowly CCHA team.”

Anything can happen in a one-and-done.

Yeah I watched that whole game and it was very evenly matched. They would’ve had no chance without H. Slukynsky who was getting tested for sure. The official broncos account even posted a meme about it😂

I’m just saying if they would’ve lost 0-1 looks better than 0-3 and even if denver lost too I wouldn’t go around claiming that either conference is better; they both choked equally (and hockey east gets the bragging rights instead)

Agreed about <—M. That’s easily the worst game I’ve seen them play all season, and they’ll get slaughtered if they play that poorly tomorrow.

To their credit though, the Screaming Eagles’ goalie stood on his head.

Bentley’s goalie was incredible. A lot of incredible goaltending so far in the tournament.
