College Hockey Postseason

Potential NCHC matchup in the frozen four

WMU’s players and the fans in Fargo didn’t seem to be that excited, which is odd.

Jobs not finished!

Probably a reason why they haven’t been looking like their normal selves the past couple games. Their typically high-flying offense died down once the tournament started and their top scorer has been quiet. Hopefully they can find their groove again going into the frozen four

Sure… but the program’s first Frozen Four is something to celebrate. The players did the usual “gather around the goalie and hug” thing but that was about it. And the WMU fans weren’t even jumping up and down or even applauding and/or cheering, just standing there politely. You just earned a spot in the Frozen Four. Get excited, people.

True, if that were our team I’d be going insane. I’ll probably celebrate more than that when we win one (1) conference game😂

Not sure what ‘withdrawn’ means exactly.

Homer is a former Miami commit.

Somebody accidentally submitted them too early, they’ll probably be back in the portal today

Update: Names are starting to come in, bunch of NMU players are in there now

I was wondering if they were all just developing anti-social behaviors.

I’m just a casual drive by hockey watcher, but drives me batty to see wmu in the frozen four when we can’t win a single conference game

We should have every advantage over them other than not being physically in the state of Michigan.

Better rink, better campus, better alumni base and funding, better academics

Will likely tear down Lawson ice arena on campus and….Increase green space!

All NCHC final 4 game WMU vs Denver

The NCHC’s undefeated status will come to an end…by default

But also it’s now certain that one of the teams in the national championship game will be from the NCHC

Denver still owns BC. It’s basically the only program that has figured out how to consistently beat BC in March or April throughout the years.

Future plans for Lawson are not set. WMU is looking for an outside entity to purchase and operate it as a recreational space.

Denver just tied it up at 2-2 :sob:

WMU dominated the chances for most of the game

And of course they’re showing highlights from the 2009 national championship game😖
