I don’t actually see a huge difference between the bottom of the ACC and the top 4 in the MAC. Although as I learned when I made this statement to Nescafé dad history says this is a blip on the radar. Unless the ACC becomes the weak link of the big conferences.

Can’t say enough how pleased I am with the offense today. If not for the Wilkins fumble we would have had at least 30 today. Our first drive of the game took almost 12 minutes off the clock. Domination with a capital D!!

Wisconsin-Whitewater set an all time record today for an on campus D3 game - over 20k. Some of these numbers are crazy!

This was one of the most satisfying wins for me in awhile. Living in the place that I do, losing to Bee Gee makes my life difficult. The majority of my friends are either Falcons or Rockets. I will be smiling for sometime.

Just got back and put the kids down. A couple observations:
Good game! First drive set the tone for the game. I was happy with how we ran the ball and controlled the clock. Not having Gage out there is big. The rest of the guys made enough plays, but we need him back. Also glad to see us use the TE in the red zone.
Defense is very good. Our front 7 is one the best we’ve had here in a long time. We make teams earn every inch.
Very good crowd on hand today. Our group sat on the student side to stay in the sun. I don’t know how full that side got, but the home side was mostly full. I’ll post a picture below. Student turnout seemed kinda meh, but perhaps that was because of family weekend.
The new video board is sweet.
Is the beer garden new? It’s a good idea and I’m glad to see them trying stuff.
Traffic/parking is a cluster. We got up there two hours before the game and were in gridlock trying to get to our lot. You can tell they aren’t quite used to these types of crowds.
Overall a good day. My kids love going, so that’s good news for me.

I expected to win. I didn’t expect this kind of domination. Excellent work in all 3 phases. Let’s keep it going. Big road test next week. Kalamazoo is a tough place to play and with what’s looming to end the month. 1 at a time, let’s get to 6-1.
