Not quite the same. Shane was an NC State guy. Frost was a home town hero at Nebraska who had just won a mythical natty at UCF.
Sure, he didn’t go to Miami. But that move was basically given an A+ grade by anyone who gets paid way too much to evaluate coaching hires. It seemed like a slam dunk. Then we found out it wasn’t.

You could see the growth mid year from WBK. Coach box took a team that was expected to do literally nothing and had them on the brink of Cleveland. WBK is on the rise

For everyone who’s shitting solely on “Sayler’s” hires keep in mind there’s a search committee and it’s not ALL on him (which is probably why it’s a mixed bag). Also not sure if we use headhunters at all

The only thing worse than their( Greenhawks) climate is their sportsmanship.
I use “spare me” in response to that [insert naughty word of your choice here] Greenhawk troll because this is a family friendly forum. To understand my real feelings you should replace them with two words; one starts with an F and the other starts with a Y. The nerve of that guy to think he can come over here all nice and innocent after posting that crap about us. And that’s only one example, there are more out there. We’re the only ones allowed to talk about us like that on this forum.
Thank you everyone for your patience, I now have it out of my system. We return you to your regularly scheduled program.

Miami’s problem is that it does not have the capability or desire to adequately support highly competitive teams in football/basketball/hockey at the same time.
