I have sacrificed 20 years of “moral example” to my children and have enlisted the aid of my 17 year old son in pirating the broadcast. He proved disturbingly helpful.
I can only hope that my “sacrifice” is rewarded with a victory and my moral turpitude is not punished with defeat.

I understand Sayler told UMASS we aren’t taking the field until we get our 1.5 million dollars!!
So for a game like this or for a home where we’re playing a small school is the home team paying.

I’m not Nostradamus or anything but given there are exactly 0 people on the field and about 30 in the stands, I don’t think we’re kicking in 10 minutes.

Who remembers the 30 Rock joke where pilot Matt Damon says that regardless of the actual delay they always announce delays as 30 minutes because “it’s long enough that people know they’ll have to wait, but not so long that they flip out”?

Many of the concession stands are now shutting down for the day. A couple (literally a couple) of our players have come out of the locker room but without upper body pads on and they aren’t actually doing anything.
I must have missed all of the lightning strike injuries and deaths in college football that have prompted these lightning delays?

Maybe because these delays have prevented some? Can’t say for sure, but why risk it for our entertainment?
