Kenny Hayes too!
The top guys can make a couple of million, and most of the players in the EuroLeague make somewhere in the mid-six-figures. Smaller leagues pay less, but it’s customary everywhere for the teams also to provide local housing. If you’re in your twenties without family commitments, it seems like a great way to pursue the dream and also get some experience living in another country.
Mike Ensminger’s brother went to Germany after graduating from Valpo and has resettled there. He’s coaching in the German leagues after a long career as a player. I noticed during conference tourney season that Mike’s nephew is now playing for Herb Sendek at Santa Clara.
Look at that. The Swiss got the school’s name correct.
