Almost total lack of coverage of spring football

I keep looking for interviews and updates but nothing is being posted on our website.

I’m with you. News blackout.

Everybody’s excited about next year (I think). They should be blasting the airwaves.

Instead we get crickets…

What the hell. When was the last time we had 4 stars on the team besides never. Get this train moving.

Wasn’t last week the Spring Break hiatus?

Meanwhile, Coastal Carolina is making news from their free concessions next year. Interesting idea:

Im pumped for the season. Bummed there hasn’t been any coverage

Forgot…probably was Spring Break. At least hope so. Good save!

Free food at Coastal.

We’ve been giving away free tickets for MBB games. Not bad.

Two years ago (maybe) was at FB game in early fall and hot as hell. Miami announced free water bottles at concessions. Act of mercy!

Thanks President and Ambassador Crawford!

That was NOT the case at Miami vs Notre Dame this September. A few people seated by us had to get EMT assistance, and we were refilling our water bottles in the bathroom sinks with tap water.

They ran out of water at Northwestern too.

Even more egregious is that they ran out early in the second quarter, if not earlier. I know as I tried to buy a bottle. I was bitching with my Miami buddy and a NW fan heard me and said, “So what else is new.” He continued to say he’s been going to games for 25+ years and nothing has changed for the better.
The entire experience was a joke. Doubled prices so we could sit in the end zone behind a large metal post which blocked our view.
Thx, NW. Hope we can reciprocate. They should give us a home game for free as compensation for the stadium f’up and increased prices.

Frankly I thought the NW game was great, I had good seats about 40 yard line looking at the lake. IMO if you made it permanent that would be great place for NW football, obviously it was a temporary set up so there were some problems, but a beautiful place for a game.

Wish we could have played a little better, I think we left a lot of opportunities out there. Brett was rushed way too much and when he wasn’t he didn’t throw very good balls. Run game was non-existent. Defense played fairly well. Brett was definitely rusty in that game. NW defensive line played well.

It would be great if we could play them every year, maybe get them to Oxford once in a while?

His answer about the bowl games was hilarious :joy:

A few Spring pics (I assume)…

He seems concerned about size and expedience. Wonder if our expectations are too high? Also wonder if we’ll end up hitting the portal for a by additions before the season starts

First time watching a Chuck Martin interview?

Nah

We need experience and size on the DL

He is 100% correct. Tremendous payoff for the kids. He gets it.
