The defense has reduced scoring on the season by 1 goal per game and instead of getting out shot by 57% it’s 20%.
In this league it’s hard to measure incremental improvement when you are so far behind from the jump. Niagara should be a better indicator if we have seen real improvement or not. It feels like the team is more talented but spent most of the first half shooting themselves in the foot with penalties.
Waldron’s emergence as a scoring threat over the last three weekends hopefully opens things up for some of the other guys.
