as is often the case, there are offers and then there are offers. Teams will offer, then continue to monitor and watch the kid over 1-2 years and eventually decide to not fully recruit or those offers get pulled once others commit etc.

I wonder if past transfers would be grandfathered if proposed transfer limits take effect via federal legislation. If not, inbound freshman like Elam and Copeland may pay huge dividends in a few years with a second transfer much less likely. Good reason to doubt that anything will get through Congress.
