Kam Craft is one of only two players remaining on Georgia Techâs roster. The other is a center who averaged < 2 points per game and finished the season 0-8 from the line.
I browsed the GT message boards and apparently Kraft signed a 2 year NIL deal, so their new coach is essentially stuck with him. And heâll probably get a lot more run this year since they are otherwise building a roster from scratch.
Smart move by Kraft to ink the 2-year deal. Had he not, heâd be out in the portal and most likely at a decreased value.
I really hope Kam ended up getting paid royally. He was a big part of getting the train over the hill but never had the chance to enjoy the wild ride this season.
Oh, to be 6â6" and be able to shoot the three!!
That kid is an amazing player. I saw him play in person against PC in OT in January. He is a freshman from Indiana.
Whatâs crazy is that he shot the ball really poorly in the latter part of the season. 18/75 from 3 (24%) in his last 11 games. I was waiting for him to get on a heater - but UConn kept advancing.
Heâs got a nice all around game - and is pretty athletic too.
But yikes - thatâs a lot of cash.
He is also really good defensive player and scrappy.
The shot in the elite 8 is probably worth a mil on its ownâŚ
Only shot 33.5% from 3. Not good enough for Miami. ![]()
Damn.
Well at least we donât have to face him again until the NCAA tournament!
And that coach is spot on, but donât blame the players. They are just taking advantage of what the system allows.
âWell, well, well, if it isnât the consequences of my own actionsâ
They can ask.
Now which fool coaches are paying?
This exact same thing is happening in the womenâs game. Players lucky to be on scholarship demanding to be paid.
