Friday 2/7: at Arizona State 8:30 PM (ESPN+)
Saturday 2/8: vs. Minnesota 5:45 PM
Saturday 2/8: at Arizona State
Sunday 2/9: vs. Utah
Predicted second in the MAC behind Ohio
Start the year with 5 power conference schools 2,000 miles from home. But Tucson was great, a wonderful place to be in February.
That’s a fairly brutal schedule to start the season.
Coach said we are playing 14 power 4 conference teams, the most we have ever played. The goal is to be ready to compete to win the MAC again.
Question…I thought that are #1 pitcher Madelyn Reeves had gone with our previous coach to Ohio State. I now see that she is back. Did I misremember that she was transferring? Don’t get me wrong, I am excited to see that she is back.
Of the three freshmen who started for Miami last year, only Berwick and Parisien followed Kumar to tOSU. I was sort of surprised that Reeves stayed, but obviously I am glad she did.
And Pitching Coach Courtney Vierstra went with her.
Miami at Arizona State at 8:30 on ESPN+. That is the only game this weekend that we are listed for tv.

6-5 Miami after 4
Oh my! Total cluster in the bottom of 5. Multiple walks and multiple errors and a 3 run bomb.
12-7 Devils. Nobody out.
Update:
ASU with 10 runs in the bottom of the 5th. Devils run rule RedHawks 15-7. Miami blew an initial 5-0 lead.
Not as talented this year. Much work to do.
