Currently there are 12 players. 14 is the max you want in a league.
Two leagues of 12 players would be fantastic though.

As an alternative, or possibly a mirror league, Yahoo! will be including guillotine leagues this year for football. If you don’t know what that is, a very short description.
Each week, all 16-18 teams (depending on if you want to go to the last week of the season or finish earlier) are competing to NOT have the lowest score. The lowest score for each week is eliminated, AND all of their players are then put on waivers. Waivers are made via a bidding system, whereas each team is given $1000 at the beginning of the year and can spend it as they see fit to acquire any players on the waiver wire.

Remember when fantasy football was designed to at least sort of mimic the real thing in terms of roster construction and management?
Yeah, a guillotine league really chops off the head of that idea.
I’ve never actually played in one, just thought it would be like a combo of hawktalks annual survival football and fantasy football.

But…We need one more owner to bring total to 14. That’s not an ideal number but unless a second league is created, it will stay at 14.
Just a heads-up…We need one more team. Or…11 more teams to form a second league.
If nobody else has volunteered a few days before the draft I will join. Living on the other side of the earth, though, my teams usually suck because the gametime decisions happen while I’m sleeping, and forces me to make uninformed decisions.

League is at the max (14). 12 is optimal. Perhaps a second league next year if we can add 10 more owners.
That’s alright with me. I play but usually don’t do well, was just offering a warm body if one was needed.
