Bracket is set. BG is the 8th seed.

Didnā€™t Ball State need both WMU and NIU to win? If so, itā€™s funny that those two things happened after BSU folded like a tent earlier this evening.

Yes. Ball State would have been 8 had they won after these other results. Being down 11-0 right off the bat didnā€™t exactly look like a team playing for anything.

Did CMU just have the worst loss in MAC history. At home - 15 point favorites- NIU has 3 guys foul out from their 8 man rotation. Niu is 1-16. CMU needs to win to make the MAC tourney. NIU was 356 out of 364 in the Net rankings. bG gets the break

Losing a win and in to go to Cleveland against NIU is historically bad. They were ranked 356 out of 364 teams in Div I. They hadnā€™t won a game since January. Literally a bottom 10 team in all of Division I.

At the end of regulation and both overtimes NIU had in the game - a freshman who had played 14 minutes the whole season as well as a former student manager who is now on the team and averaged 8 minutes a game this year.

Kudos to NIU for showing up, ready to play with nothing on the line. It just makes the Ball St. effort more exasperating.

Any idea when game times will be announced?

On Thursday:

First Game at 11 am
Second Game 30 minutes after the completion of the first game
Third Game 30 minutes after the completion of the second game
Miami plays in the third game which should be about 4 pm unless games 1 and 2 run long.

I donā€™t know if whoever admins that page will ever read this, or anybody else has a line with them, but they have the womenā€™s team meeting listed as being on Tuesday the 12th, but I assume they meant on Wednesday the 12th. Donā€™t want anybody to be confused.
