The buyouts for the 12 coaches fired so far this year will surpass that.

I didn’t see any of their last two games, but it seems as if he was working with the 3rd and 4th qb’s and perhaps deserved a little slack.
Fickell is supposedly safe. Is Wisconsin cheap, are there no interested candidates, or both? I thought he’d work out in Madison but I guess his run at UC was carried by his assistants and being able to develop a roster in the pre-NIL/portal world.

IU’s Curt Cignetti has a better record in 2 years (20-2) than Fickell has in THREE (15-19).
2 years ago, no one would have expected IU to be in 2nd place nationally while Wisconsin gets crappier.
I think Wisconsin looked at all the other openings and figured it would be best to wait a year.
