Apologies, I missed that request. My bad!
A couple things. First, the bulk of the roster is still the same ol’ Berge guys. It’s up to Noreen to coach ‘em up. Can he do it? We’ll see. I do like the odds here as he seems better at X’s and O’s. Second, we have some new portal guys. See point one. Third, we’re having a good offseason on the recruiting front. What does this mean? Who knows whether any of these guys a) will ever don a block M sweater or b) whether any of these guys are any good. But that doesn’t really matter. What’s important here is the staff is building out the infrastructure to compete over the long haul. Compare this with Bergeron who brought over his WCHA recruiting model from BUGS. He recruited a year or two out and seemed to have a philosophical problem with stockpiling players. Why do that? Well, if some hot shot kid commits to Michigan at 17, he ain’t committing to Boston College when he’s 19.
None of this means we should expect home ice for the playoffs this season so temper those expectations. We may still finish last but I like double digit wins. And the staff is doing the things they should be doing to compete. That’s all we can ask for in season 1. I’m encouraged.

Last year we had 0 players wear the fish bowl, in this picture you can see at least 6. I don’t know if the stats exist for this but a friend pointed out to me that the successful teams usually have a couple players not in the cages…a good sign for the season? 
Fish bowl? I don’t get it.
