Good work😂
Robby Drazner is headed to Western Michigan.
I think he has the longest individual conference winless streak in the country. He was a scratch when we beat WMU this past season so he hasn’t won a conference game since 2/25/23 against Minnesota Duluth. He hasn’t seen a win in the last 31 NCHC games he’s played in. I’m not sure how anyone could have him beat. I’m glad this streak will probably come to an end.
He’ll be back in Goggin March 7-8th!
Brutal.
The upcoming season will be Drazner’s 5th,correct?
Yes it will be, he came in with Barbolini/Hampus/Moulton and crew.
It’s interesting on the Broncos forum someone said they’re excited to see Pat develop him and have him be a big boost to their team and someone else replied that he’s just going to be a depth piece. I personally think it’ll be the former but it’s hard to tell these days if our players are lacking production because they’re mid or because Miami is stifling them
It’s cool to see Alec Martinez will be Miami men’s ice hockey inductee into the Miami Athletics HOF.
Retaining Cisek and Phillips made official this morning.
Noreen Announces Miami Hockey Coaching Staff - Miami University RedHawks (miamiredhawks.com)
Story is paywalled, but Bergeron was hired by Buffalo as an NCAA scout.
I’m glad to see Berg is back already! A good Miami Man.
If I remember right, that should save Miami money since his buyout was one year of salary minus any earnings from a subsequent job in that span.
Could lead to a good second career for Berg, maybe advance to a front office position down the road or just get paid to watch hockey games. Oxford not a bad home base to scout both the NCHC and Big Ten. Happy for him.
Hope we’ll see him at the rink.
Kevyn Adams is the GM for the Sabres and was a freshman Bergerons senior year I believe. Miami has a lot of connections in the hockey world, hopefully they will be put to good use with the new coach rebuilding the program.

Hopefully he liked playing for Noreen this past year…
Got to like than Phelan has himself photoshopped in a Miami sweater with a Cady Arena background.
The commits have really stepped it up with the photoshop efforts
That’s some good news rolling in!
Also, what happened with Potulny at NMU? June seems like a really odd time to resign.
