#2, Fishers is #6
This one has been known about for a while, but he makes it official on Twitter this morning. TE out of Georgia.
We painted our bedroom Hunter Teal.
Also Courtney Osborn is a Fishers grad.
Teal is going to be great. Honestly, was hoping we got a “bigger” QB, but forgot we did bring in Maddox Kopp as well in the portal. Anyone know how he’s been doing this spring?
A couple of pics this week were posted showing him taking snaps. Based on what they’ve been posting it looks like the two deep is still Brett and Aveon followed by either Kopp and Hesson or Hesson and Kopp.
Haven’t seen any indication that Humphreys has gotten any reps. As highly touted as he was coming in that is a bit surprising to me.
I don’t think any of the other three - Edwards, Tarpey and MacLeod - are on scholarship but MacLeod came in as a PWO with a very good rep from his prep days in the Bay Area.
Humphreys has been out all spring you can see him in pictures and videos standing there in shorts and tshirt.
Maybe he was injured.
How about Miami Hockey D man,Grant Hutton? Carmel, grad. Now in NY Islanders organization.
Maybe Chuck can take Chris Bergeron on the next visit?
Granted it is a small sample size and quick clips in the videos, but there is a significant difference between how Brett throws and delivers the ball and the other QBs you mentioned. Just look at the video clip yesterday on Twitter. Brett’s throw perfectly led #11. For those not on Twitter, here is is:
What I notice is that Aveon still seems to push the ball, especially on his deeper throws.
I saw Humphreys throwing in a clip earlier this spring. Hope he is not the one to hit the portal. Then again, I’ve never seen him live, only watched his HS videos which were awfully
impressive.
AS continued issues were very evident in a recent Twitter clip extolling the play made by the DB, which was good. The ball was badly underthrown and not accurate.
3 star WR/DB out of PA. Had offers from many of the Ivy League and MAC schools. Also Army and Navy.
Looks like a great get
According to On3 Jackson also had an offer from Mississippi State.
The On3 prediction had us at a 1.2% chance of landing him. They had Kent the leader at 41.8%.
I have to think our academics made a big difference here.
I’m not sure about the extent of ON3’s information, but his Rivals profile is correct. The coaching staff projects him as a safety.
My nephew is a starting lb for Plum, and they played Norwin this past season. Plum won 42-13 and he said Jackson was clearly their best player. So they double-teamed him the entire game and shut him down.
Another commit on the way. Appears to be WR.
Pons did confirm that he will be playing Safety at Miami.
Amazing how many of our recruits have multiple Ivy League offers. First, it’s not bad football and the big plus is the coaches don’t need to worry about him/them in the classroom.
