Why doesn’t the top seed host? Akron just have a really nice facility?
It’s not played at the University of Akron, it’s played at this place. The press box looks less than desirable.

I’m more concerned about the carbonation levels of the soft drinks at the concession stands than I am about the press box.

Yes. And note that in the finals, the lower bracket team must win 2 to win, so 3-1 would also work.

When you look at the stadium in Google maps it looks like it had quite a few renovations-turf field now for one .
By the same token, we’d have to win 4 games to win the tournament if we don’t start off 2-0.

Yep, just wanted to highlight that we can afford to lose one at some point. Hate tournaments with double elimination that don’t give the winners bracket team an advantage like that.
