Well, their new coach will have plenty of scholarships to rework the roster. Curious who they’re going to go after. Feels like they need to hurry, but I would imagine several targets still have teams playing.
I wish Javin all the best as a grad transfer but I wonder at what level he is looking to play? Certainly D2 would be an option. Not sure a DI program will take a flyer but who knows.
I think if he’s willing to transfer down to play, he’s gonna be a highly recruited player. Who’s to say playing on a D2 national champ caliber team wouldn’t be more fun than what he’s recently experienced? Or, maybe he walks on a big time D1 team. He’s very talented but with his injuries, it might be that’s the only way he gets significant D1 interest. Either way, I wish him well and admire how he overcame significant adversity.
