For what it’s worth, I only read the dirty ones.

One of my favorite other schools. Why? Because Joe Dumars went there. A great player and a class act.

BG hires Todd Simon from Southern Utah.

Some internet sleuths discovered via Zillow that Ed Cooley listed his house for sale on March 3, so presumably the Georgetown rumors are legit.

Slick Rick to St John’s

And Fairleigh Dickinson’s coach to Iona

Nice to see Rick end up at a Catholic university where their ideals and his character mesh extremely well.

Yup! Here’s the article. Damn shame these guys are jumping so fast

yes, very aligned!

For what it’s worth, Iona is a Catholic school too. So two religious schools have hired him in three years.

It’s obviously not worth much!

Tobin Anderson has beaten one D1 team with a winning record in his entire coaching career, granted FDU went on a great run but Iona is really going out on a limb.

Did you see that Iona almost hired 3 years ago

Bad take. Tobin Anderson is a great coach. Iona smart to grab him now before he’s hired away in a year or two.

Anderson was the runner-up for the Iona job three years ago. They had a pretty high opinion of him already.

The media is reporting that George Mason coach Kim English, inter alia, is in the running for the Providence job. I think he has done a good job in his two years, but you wouldn’t think a sixth place finish in the A10 would merit this consideration. This is just one example that makes you wonder about the criteria AD’s are using to hire.
