Tobin Anderson has beaten one D1 team with a winning record in his entire coaching career, granted FDU went on a great run but Iona is really going out on a limb.

Bad take. Tobin Anderson is a great coach. Iona smart to grab him now before heās hired away in a year or two.
Anderson was the runner-up for the Iona job three years ago. They had a pretty high opinion of him already.
The media is reporting that George Mason coach Kim English, inter alia, is in the running for the Providence job. I think he has done a good job in his two years, but you wouldnāt think a sixth place finish in the A10 would merit this consideration. This is just one example that makes you wonder about the criteria ADās are using to hire.
