Women’s results from Saturday

Some big upsets change the standings and momentum.

At BS. Kent 60. BS. 54. Cardinals second straight loss.

At MU. UB 68. MU. 54. If you add together the 16-0 run at end of our game with the 20-2 run to start the game, Buffalo had a 36-2 run against us.

At CM. CM. 56- WM. 43 Chips move within a game of us and currently have the tiebreaker.

At NIU. EMU 76- NIU. 72. First MAC win, but they had been coming closer and closer. Think they will be excited to get us at home on Wednesday ?

At AK. OU 70 - AK 62. Akron currently worst team in the league. Game was similar to our game at Akron this week, close for 3 quarters and Akron pulled away late. OU has gotten a couple of injured starters back and has won 2 in a row. Ohio is expecting their largest crowd of the season for our Saturday DH in Athens. Think OU will be fired up for this one?

At BG. BG. 81-UT 72. BG women complete the weekend sweep of hated Toledo. A couple of weeks ago BG took McGuffey out of their starting lineup and inserted their star freshman. Since then they are 4-0 and are now tied with us. We have the tiebreaker.

Looking at standings and just predicting results would be a terrible way to place bets. Injuries, illness, momentum, good coaching can change everything. We best be at our best this week.

These are the current MAC standings:

BS. 12-2
UB. 11-3
UT. 10-4
KS. 9-5
MU 8-6
BG. 8-6
CM. 7-7
WM. 6-8
NIU. 5-9
OU. 4-8
AK. 3-11
EM. 1-13
