Sad situation…adds to the whole poo show that is now college D1 athletics. The Head Coach of U.W. is Tina Langley and she is a class act. Hope the kid finds peace and a serious drive to be an always-improving, program loyal, academically strong college athlete.
She already is. Great kid. Father is AD at HS.
Her reason for transferring is very sound.

You would think that no recruit would want
to commit to Ohio State right now. I would think that it is possible their coach gets fired yet this summer. It might be that if they want to fire him that they would wait until legal proceedings are finished and perhaps a conviction of some sort might allow them to fire him without having to pay a large buyout. Just speculation on my part.
True. But in today’s world if the coach gets fired they can leave and go somewhere else almost immediately.
Good points, but she likes OSU. Basketball is, of course, quite important, but so is the school.
Side note: Bryn’s father is Springboro’s AD.
IF she likes OSU so much why did she first commit to Washington?

I think it’s because she’s from Springboro. Right, Eddie? Maybe somebody told her the Washington Huskies don’t play in Washington Township or Washington Court House. Kids never look at maps these days. They live in the world of GPS.
My kid can never answer whether something is north or south of someplace else! Geographical concepts and cartography are lost on many of them!
