Where Do Miami's Students Come From?

One of my college roommates at Miami is a lawyer in San Diego, but for some reason I kinda doubt he drives a Highlander.

As someone with a vacation house in Watervliet, I’ve heard the acronym. I’m definitely wearing Miami gear when I’m up there (Likely because my wardrobe is pretty much from Miami, the Iditarod and the Momentum store in South Haven)

I’m from Westchester County, NY. Lots of kids from Rye and Bronxville choose Miami. Plus the lily white Christian communities of Greenwich, Darien and New Canaan, Connecticut. Almost no minorities, including Jews, from the Ct. towns. Bronxville same.

I’m from Lafayette, Indiana & there were usually about 3 students from the area schools while I was at Miami. Now I live in sparsely populated New Mexico (Santa Fe) but have run into a few Miamiians here. I understand former President Garland lives also.

Harrisburg, Pa native. Very few selected Miami.

Pitt and Penn State are still huge.

When I was there, Centerville and the South Dayton burbs were huge feeders to Miami. I’m guessing it’s still that way. Down here in NC, the alumni clubs in Charlotte and Raleigh usually host a new student event most summers.
