In the 80s my now wife and I spent a considerable amount of time on Rose Street across from the remaining shell of that building.
I have always ascribed my children’s behavior to the exposure. It couldn’t be our parenting right!

I lived in Village Green apts on Main. The building was just outside my bedroom window for 2 years.

I also lived in Village Green apartments, and heard the story about the adjacent uranium processing plant years later!
