After our “nail-biter” win over CMU, both ESPN prognosticators now have us “penciled” into their bowl game predictions. One has us in the Montgomery Bowl against South Carolina, and the other in Mobile against UAB.
Figure we need to go 2-2 for a 7-5 finish to be assured of a slot.
If we hadn’t done whatever it was we did against BG, we’d be a respectable 6-2 (4-0) right now.
Or NOT BLOWN a 28-7 lead at UC 7-1.
… and it is even more upsetting after seeing UC beat #8 Texas Tech.
Kind of a typical year and projected record for us.
The way the remaining schedule looks, we sure better beat Buffalo. Bulls have been playing pretty well as of late even though they lost their starting QB for the season after one game. Then even if we lost to OU and WMU we can eke out a winning record by taking out Kent. Sigh…..
HCCM now 77-77 at Miami. If beat UB next Tuesday will that be the first time he is over .500?
Honestly, this is the one that turned me off for this season. I’ve been following peripherally, yet my heart hasn’t been invested since. The Pitt loss was whatever, but we should be on a 7-game win streak.
Or even won every game since Chuck has been here and be 154-0
A win over Buffalo would mark the 1st time Marrin would be over .500 So get it DONE
