Let me get this right….a Women’s Conference Tourney Semi tip-offs at 10AM in 2026? No words.

I have a word, ridiculous. We would go back to Cleveland but nope, not for an 10 a m start.
One word: Television.
CBS Sports Network has the men’s tournament in the 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM slots today rather than 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM, as the evening sessions go in larger conference tourneys. Working backwards, that means the women’s games have to start early to ensure that both are done with enough time to turn over the building before the 5:00 PM session.

Serious question, what would your preference be? Seems that with the realities of TV, the 3 options would be:
1.) Play the Women’s tournament Mon-Wed.
2.) Play the Women’s tournament at a different city or venue.
3.) Current format.
IMO, the current format is the best for the fans to support both the men’s and women’s teams. What are your thoughts?

Play OU at 10:00 AM while most Bobcats are still hung over. Win by thirty.

The best answer for live attendees would be to persuade our broadcast partners to schedule the men’s games starting at 7:00 PM, so that the women’s games could tip off at noon, but that puts the men’s tourney in direct competition with the ACC and other conference tourneys.
Yes the early start time worked out for WBB! …now for the men it was an excuse

The alumni gathering in Cleveland was at 8:00 a.m. Nothing like having cheerleaders yelling in your ear while you drink a Bloody Mary at 8:30.
