Their first tournament was a matchup of 4 teams who finished at/near the bottom of their league. It was clear that of the 4 Miami was the one who had improved and is pushing to move up.
All you can do is beat who is on your schedule.
Yes, the schedule is well thought out. We have tougher opponents ahead ( Ohio State!) but we now have some confidence and a 3-0 record. It is well planned.
Most impressively, the RedHawks took all three matches in straight sets. We have not lost a single set thus far. That should do a lot in establishing a mindset of competitive strength, something that was lacking last season. Go VolleyHawks!
