Some jerks are ruining things for the annual Uptown Lions Club Christmas Tree fund raiser. Per the article:
The Lions Club sells the trees to raise money for those in the community, including those who are blind and visually impaired.
Oddly, earlier that day before the Ball State game I walked by that park in the center of uptown and sat down for awhile because I was half an hour early for meeting friends at the Left Field tavern. I was looking at the way they had all the trees just sitting there in an open park with no fencing or protection and nobody selling or guarding them and I was wondering if that was wise.
