I literally watched these three kids play on Halloween weekend. Drank beers around the corner from the parking deck. My eldest lives up the street.
So very tragic. I think about what these student athletes had in front of them. Ugh

IIRC, didn’t Eastern Michigan play a game the same week one of their players passed awat? Was probably close to a decade ago, and I forget how it happened. Regardless, tragic for the players/families involved, prayers for them all.
