Get up early!

8:10 am start.

“Being able to represent the U.S. at this stage in the Olympics is one of the greatest honors I’ve ever had…”

The greatest country in the world vs. Canada. Haven’t won since 1996. A win this morning would be nice.

Quick start

Beautiful goal

The “extra pass” hurting USA. I’m certain coaching staff will address during intermission.

I fear Wilson’s hits.

That was quite a sequence to keep Canada scoreless…

Three on Three. Nerve-racking.

Well that was quick

I expect a similar reaction when Suder hits a 3 at the buzzer to beat UConn to go the Sweet 16.

Makar’s decision helped cost Canada the Gold.

Something I learned this week: You can still buy Cale Makar jersey at the UMass store.

Pittsburgh (Not a bastion of giving love to the opposition!) gives love to Jack Hughes!

If my memory serves, in 2010 the Pittsburgh response for Crosby after his golden goal was tepid at best, and when they showed the highlight the home crowd outright boo’ed.

A few reactions…

“I had season tickets at the time. 1st game back we played Buffalo. The crowd cheered for Ryan Miller and mock booed Sid.”

“The Olympians for the Penguins and the visiting Buffalo Sabres were announced before the game, and Crosby was given a standing ovation … one that was eclipsed by the thunderous, lengthy cheer given to Team USA goalie Ryan Miller, who didn’t play for Buffalo in its 3-2 loss in Pittsburgh.”
