For anyone coming in from out of town who is arriving early or leaving late, this 4-day weekend is Oktoberfest. Zinzinnati is generally considered the second largest in the world behind Munich.

Looks like a lot of the Greek orgs are going to do a big tailgate past the south entrance, like they did last year for UC. Nice energy, though I imagine it’ll clear out a lot at halftime for uptown activities unless we get off to a killer start.

It took me a minute to understand how a Greek tailgate (Gyros and Spanakopita) related to Brats and Schnitzel at Oktoberfest. All of a sudden the light came on.
BTW - We’re going to Oktoberfest on Sunday. Staying in Cincy through Sunday night.
I’d almost bet there will be more kiddies and frat boys uptown than at the game by halftime no matter what.
My two sons went to UK and their frats all showed up at games and in shirt and tie. SEC football and Southern culture I guess. Thought it was kind of cool. Once they were getting spanked by Alabama or Georgia not sure how long they stayed around before they went back to the house and started drinking..
Maybe Brick Street will close up that day to encourge more people to attend the game.
