11 turnovers and only 3 assists. This is rough. 25-21 Troy at the U4.
Defense hit and miss at times with Elmer out. The lid will come off on offense. Very open looks.

I wonder if Troy is just a little bigger and a little more athletic than our typical league opponent

Nah, smaller with their big out. It’s the speed that’s hurting. And hands aren’t being called either way, which probably favors them. Not a diss on the refs. Fairly consistent.
If we just clean it up and shoot marginally better in the second half we’ll win the game easily

Suder’s been a little out of control but we’re up 3 because of his hustle plays late.

I love the effort and intensity. We’re doing a good job defensively. We’re playing tough on the boards.
We need that toughness offensively. We’re doing a good job attacking their man pressure. But when we get in the lane, we need to look to score. When we look to pass, we’re turning the ball over. If someone besides Ipsaro and Suder can finish strong in the lane, we’ll have a good chance. That toughness includes shooting in rhythm from the outside. Troy’s done a good job speeding us up to where it’s affecting guys’ shooting rhythm. Craft’s 4 3s were all open but shot 4 different ways. His rhythm just isn’t there.
One of the many things I admire about the team now versus the last couple years past is we have many options who can score. We had two most years. We will shoot better second half.
We’ve turned it over, we’ve missed good looks… and yet we still lead by 3.

Much better start to this half. Cam making some noise now.
Not being strong enough with the ball and less than crisp passes (at times) has been a theme all season.
