With the problems at Ohio State with past Presidents Gordon Gee and, more recently, Ted Carter, I’m even more delighted that Miami’s President Crawford continues to shine!

If Ohio State is going to be our flagship, folks who care about the state need it to get its shit together. Their new president (elevated from provost) was DC#2’s dean when he was an engineering student and always impressed me. I’m not sure whether Ravi Bellamkonda has ever been in an environment where he needs to rebuild trust and credibility, but he’s a good university administrator with a sense of vision and a deft touch as a fundraiser.
