Mathew Winick, a college basketball analyst has released his Top 35 Mid Major players in the country. Miami has 2 on this list: Elmer at #11 and Suder at #20. No other MAC team has ANY player on the list.

Of note, Ryan Pedon’s Illinois State team has 3 of the top 35 and 2 of the top 3.
Big expectations were Illinois State this year.
That would seem to be an easy game to schedule if we want to build a resume.
Illinois State is picked by most to be the top team in the MVC this year. Ryan Pedon has done a fine job there.
He was at one point.
Miami (Owens) passed on Chase Walker. Didn’t recruit him as he was considered too heavy. Comes from a great family. Glad to see he’s getting recognized.
